About Me

Hello there: My name is Marilyn. I am a born and raised Georgia Peach from Savannah but for the past 22 years I have lived in Illinois. I love it here. Yes, I even will take the snow and cold over the heat and humidity but my heart will always be in the deep south. I moved with my now ex husband and our three, now grown children, to Illinois in 1991. We raised the children in the suburbs of Chicago. I since got divorced and for the past three years have been living in the country with a wonderful, loving man, that accepts my crazy ways! We married in October 2011. More of that later and how I had a wedding, 200 people and honeymoon for about $15,000. Yes, it can be done! Unfortunately, due to being certain bills I am personally in debt, and due to a major surgery last June am no longer able to work fulltime doing what I love best...caring for children. Yes, my job is an early childhood educator...what other job can you go to everyday and get hugs, kisses and I love yous and then get a paycheck???

Favorite Movies: Gone With the Wind, the last scene of An Officer and A Gentleman, You Got Mail, Bridget Jones Diary, ok you get it chick flicks!!!

Favorite Music: Love Jason Maraz, Colbie Caliais, Adele... Also love jazz and some Regae...gets me cleaning:)

Favorite Books: All of the books by Jennifer Chiaverini, The Good Yarn Books. And guides to anything creative!
